CapCut is expanding Dreamina Seedance 2.0 while Topview restored access within 24 hours, and creators are stress-testing it for vertical repurposing, long prompts and stylized start frames. Try it for fast video conversions, but budget cleanup passes for continuity and transitions.

CapCut's Video Studio post frames the update as a timeline-free workflow on CapCut Web, with Dreamina Seedance 2.0 built in. That matters for creators who want a faster prompt-to-video path without dropping into a conventional editor first.
At the same time, Topview access is back after a brief interruption. The restoration post says the issue was resolved in under 24 hours, and Topview's pricing page places Seedance 2.0 alongside Kling, Veo, and Nano Banana inside a credits-and-concurrency system, giving creators at least two live surfaces for testing the model right now.
The clearest workflow experiment is video-to-video reframing. ProperPrompter's conversion demo shows a 16:9 clip turned into 9:16 with the plain instruction “create a portrait mode version of the video,” which is a strong sign that quick social repurposing may be one of Seedance's most usable near-term jobs.
Other tests are less about utility and more about range. Kaigani's CPP post and follow-up Midjourney frame test suggest Seedance can take a stylized still as a starting frame and carry it into motion, while Artedeingenio's fight demo says a 3,049-character prompt got close to the model's limit and was detailed enough to evoke recognizable characters without naming them.
The failure modes are already pretty specific. One creator's continuity note says shot-to-shot consistency is still unreliable, and reposted criticism around complex transitions points in the same direction transition issues.
Even the stronger showcase clips show artifacts under stress. In Artedeingenio's fight demo, the weak point is a slow-motion jump where the character's body twists unnaturally, which is exactly the kind of motion error that matters if you're trying to cut together action, ads, or music-video beats without cleanup passes.
Topview added Seedance 2.0 to Agent V2, pairing multi-scene generation with a storyboard timeline and Business Annual access billed as 365 days of unlimited generations. That moves longform video workflows toward editable sequences instead of stitched clips.
updateOpenAI has removed the Sora app as creators and Hacker News users debate whether novelty never turned into durable usage. Save projects now and plan to test ChatGPT-integrated or rival video tools next.
promptCreators are turning Nano Banana 2 templates into reusable prompt systems for merch shots, sports ads, editorial portraits and modular scene builds. Keep the scaffold fixed and swap only brand, lens, action or environment variables to iterate fast.
workflowRiverside's Co-Creator reads transcripts automatically and turns chat-style requests into cuts, captions, thumbnails and social copy from one workspace. Use it when you need fast repurposing without timeline scrubbing, then polish the output by hand.
releaseSmallest says Lightning V3.1 can clone a voice from about 10 seconds of audio with 44.1kHz output, sub-100ms latency and 50-plus languages on Waves. Test it for multilingual narration and dubbing, but get explicit permission before cloning any voice.
